The material on this CD-ROM introduces undergraduate and graduate students to basic practical and theoretical plant anatomy.  It is structured to allow exploration of stem, root and leaf anatomy as well as serving as an introduction to secondary and anomalous growth. It includes a section on adaptation to environment presentations are included on this CR-ROM which are designed specifically for the pre practical environment, allowing students and instructors to run through presentations that make use of  many of the specimens that are featured in the Virtual Plant itself. Material will be updated from time to time, and will be available by visiting the Blackwell's website where you will be redirected accordingly.
